How will the changes to travel restrictions affect your clients working airside?
If you have clients who work airside, you will have been following the recent developments in quarantine and travel restrictions relating to the Covid-19 pandemic closely.
Earlier this week, restrictions for travellers entering the UK from many countries were lifted. Arrivals from these countries, mainly in Europe, no longer have to quarantine for 14 days on their arrival.
There are over 50 countries eligible for these reduced restrictions - including many popular holiday spots – due to them now posing a ‘reduced risk’, according to the government.
The relaxing of these measures is likely to lead to higher numbers of people travelling to and from the UK via air travel, causing busier airports and flights.
What does this mean for you clients working airside?
Airports will need contractors more than ever to ensure compliance with social distancing and adherence to stringent cleaning regimes. If your client is taking on a contract airside, we can help you ensure they have the appropriate cover in place.
Here at DUAL Oliva, we are able to provide limits up to £100,000,000 with the option to include vehicle liability. Whether your client is working on the runway or within the terminal building; we can offer a competitive solution for you. Short-term policies are also available for one-off contracts.
